Kemmlit rose to meet the challenge of a highly demanding timescale to install their Cronus cubicles, vanity units and ducting over six floors at Torrington Place, one of University College London’s student accommodation buildings.
Following a number of successful installations by Kemmlit for UCL Estates in partnership with Construction Consultancy Potter Raper Partnership, the ease and speed of installation of Kemmlit’s Cronus system was again a key factor in its specification.
The Cronus cubicle system is so versatile and flexible and can be used for either dry or wet areas. The panels are made from 13mm solid grade laminate (SGL) with a special overlay to protect them against abrasion, wear and scratches -making them the ideal solution for this type of demanding environment.
Cronus is available in a range of colours and finishes that can be configured as a single or multiple cubicle system and can be installed into virtually any room configuration.
Solid grade laminate duct panelling, urinal modesty screens and vanity units completed the scope of works over six floors of male and female washroom areas at Torrington Place. Peak Contractors carried out the installation on time and on budget.
The Cronus system is part of an extensive range of high performance cubicle and locker systems and accessories from Kemmlit UK who also offer a design, project management and installation service.
