UK Construction Week, the biggest trade event the construction industry has seen in years, in association with BRE is asking professionals from all built environment sectors to take part in its BIM survey – rewarding those who take part with the chance to win two tickets to the Ashes this summer.
With the mandatory use of BIM on all government-funded projects coming in to force in 2016, the construction industry is in a race against time to make sure it’s BIM ready. But does the industry fully understand what is required of them? What percentage of companies has BIM portfolios ready today and who is looking to invest in the near future? These are just a few of the questions UK Construction Week is looking to answer.
At the event in October at the Birmingham NEC, BIM has been given its own dedicated space in the form of the newly announced BIM Prospects theatre. Visitors attending the show will benefit from a comprehensive seminar schedule that tackles the key issues around BIM, including insights from experts and early adopters of BIM level 2.
