Plaster and drylining manufacturer, British Gypsum, has extended its portfolio of product and technical information with its latest edition of HomeSpec, a helpful specification guide to products and systems ideal for construction professionals working on residential projects.
Part of the British Gypsum White Book Series, the sixth edition of the guide is designed to help architects, contractors and builders choose the right solutions for the job through easy to digest advice and information on British Gypsum products and systems.
HomeSpec also provides information on new technologies and accreditations that have been developed to help installers and housebuilders meet Building Regulations in England, Scotland and Wales such as the New Approved Document Part L 2013.
As well as regulative requirements, the handy guide details performance levels including acoustics, thermal efficiency and durability benefits for each British Gypsum system.
Sarah White, residential market manager at British Gypsum, said: “As legislation in the residential sector has become more rigorous, it can be difficult to identify which products are best for the job.
"British Gypsum has continued to support its customers through these changes, and the new HomeSpec guide provides solutions for new build and refurbishment projects that not only make the specification process easier, but that also benefit the end user.”
