Responding to demand from over 6,000 Ecobuild attendees keen to specify water management and efficiency solutions, organiser UBM will deliver its strongest offering ever in 2015 with a dedicated water area and content programme.
Significant investment is being injected by both Ecobuild and the industry to showcase the latest consultancy and services, water efficient and water recycling products, and water infrastructure innovations.
As the sustainable design, construction and energy marketplace for new build, refurb, commercial and domestic buildings, Ecobuild attracts the largest water community of any UK event, drawing senior decision-makers from across the supply chain including architects, specifiers, manufacturers, distributors and end-users.
Amongst the 6,000+ Ecobuild attendees interested in water management and efficiency solutions were senior figures from AECOM, Crossrail, Deloitte, Sainsbury’s, Foster & Partners, Make Architects, JD Wetherspoon, Foster Wilson Architects, Whitbread, Metropolitan Police and the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham and Newham.
Ecobuild’s official water sponsor Wavin and its brands Hep2O and OSMA will be out in force at the 2015 event. They will be joined by a growing number of brands now committed to the event including ACO, Rainwater Harvesting Ltd, Balmoral Tanks, Biorock and Alutec.
Alison Jackson, Group Director of Sustainability & Construction, Ecobuild said: “Ecobuild has always delivered a strong water offering, however the latest research highlights an opportunity to improve the visitor experience and facilitate greater business deals at the show. By creating an area of the event purely dedicated to water efficiency and management solutions, as well as expert educational content, Ecobuild 2015 looks set to be the catalyst for new commercial partnerships.”
Water efficiency impacts upon multiple positions in the procurement chain, from the initial design and subsequent construction of new buildings or refurbishment works, to the facilities management services put in place to manage the process.
“With clients and developers driving water efficiency and management as standard practice for new and refurbished buildings, Ecobuild is where the sustainable built environment community is coming to get up to speed. Companies keen to exhibit should get in touch soon to secure a prominent position” comments Jackson.
Ecobuild’s water content programme will offer a comprehensive and commercially focused perspective on water management and efficiency technology, planning, policy and good practice.
“We’re delighted to be sponsoring the water seminar theatre at Ecobuild 2015,” commented Mike Shaw, Head of Marketing at Wavin, the UK’s leading supplier of water management, plumbing, heating and drainage systems for the building, construction and utilities markets. “As experts with water, alignment of the brand with this key Ecobuild topic provides us with the ideal platform with which to engage, debate and influence with key professionals within the sector.”
