“The underlying philosophy of our company is to provide protection for people. Whether they are staff or service users our solutions and products can ensure their comfort and safety at all times.”
With 25 years of providing solutions to meet the demanding needs of healthcare, mental health, educational and public service buildings, Intastop, is well versed in understanding the unique requirements some facilities have which has lead to specific products being developed.
Sarah Barsby, continued: “We are continually conversing with a variety of professionals within the healthcare industry to ensure we develop products that are designed to not only help keep people safe but also protect their built environment which in turn minimises maintenance and increases the overall lifecycle of healthcare interiors.”
Some of the most revolutionary products developed by Intastop will be on show at DIMH and include the IVision Panel and Door Top Alarm.
IVision is a ground-breaking manually operated vision panel, ideally suited to healthcare establishments and public buildings where privacy and safety are of paramount importance. The vision panel, when open, provides almost perfect visibility, at 92% its result is double that of other panels on the market. And, when closed it offers total blackout.
Whereas the anti-ligature Door Top Alarm was developed to prevent attempted suicide from the tops of doors in mental health establishments. The tamper proof system works by a sensory pad being installed at the top of a standard door and should a weight be applied it will alert staff via a preferred method such as; an audible alarm, visible light, staff indicator panel or via a pager or main computer. The devise connects via the main power and is also compatible with most staff attack systems.
On the stand visitors will be able to see complete solutions for bedroom and ensuite doors which incorporate a variety of safety features including the new Removable Door Stop with interchangeable key and SECURA Hinge.
