Electronically controlled taps are now common in most public facilities.
However, facilities such as cafes, doctor’s surgeries or offices- or semi-public toilets- should not compromise on hygiene, comfort and sustainability.
GROHE now offers a wide range of products for these facilities that contribute to users’ well-being while at the same time helping save water and energy. Capable of recognising hand movements, infrared electronic sanitary products are the most hygienic solution thanks to their touch-free operation.
Electronically controlled GROHE taps are quick and easy to install, have a dazzling and long-life surface, are full of innovative technologies and blend in with a variety of designs. The latest additions to the GROHE range include the touch-free Europlus E, Eurosmart CE and Euroeco CE taps, all with efficient low-energy electronics.
The taps draw their energy from the mains supply, the GROHE LongLife battery or the GROHE PowerBox, which harnesses flowing water and turns it into electrical energy.
The touch-free taps feature a single infrared window. The electronics behind this window facilitates a bidirectional data transfer – the taps not only receive commands for individual programmes and settings, but also deliver consumption data. This way the taps and the flushing system provide a transparent overview of the frequency, duration and times of use. This means that setting the automatic cleaning mode and thermal disinfection cycles in accordance with actual requirements is easy and any necessary maintenance can be planned in advance. Maintenance is therefore simple while reducing water and energy costs at the same time.
GROHE infrared products can now be setup to allow for more individual control, as well as assisting in providing detailed feedback on procedures such as automatic flushing or thermal disinfection. This allows the previously manual settings, such as flushing duration, automatic flushing and thermal disinfection to be set even more flexibly and precisely, preventing the formation of hazardous germs and unpleasant odours.
Hygienic, intelligent and sustainable–GROHE infrared electronics are the perfect choice for semi-public sanitary facilities.
