Alumasc’s trusted Harmer Aluminium Roof Outlets are engineered to cater for most flat roof drainage applications. They enable high flow performance, are low maintenance and easy to install. A wide choice of standard drain body variations is available, with standard and extended spigot options.
New to the range is the Aluminium Threaded Spigot Adaptor which facilitates the A1 fire-rated connection of Harmer Roof AV and threaded aluminium rainwater outlets to all types of pipe systems. Connection is made possible by the external diameter of the spigot being equal to most standard internal pipework. The adaptor is supplied with a BS EN 10255 taper male thread, ensuring a fully watertight joint when screwed into the socket outlet, removing the requirement for a mechanical joint within the slab. Its uncoated solid aluminium construction ensures it will not combust or contribute to the spread of fire.
Alumasc’s non-combustible system also provides compliance with BS EN8579:2020 – A Guide to the design of Balconies and Terraces, which puts further emphasis on the importance of fire safety in the drainage design of balconies and terraces. Harmer Roof Outlets are BBA approved powder coated, making them A2-s1, d0 fire rated, ensuring conformity to the new regulations in most applications. Aluminium is 100% recyclable.
