The Structural Concrete Alliance is urging delegates to book now to reserve the last available places for its Practical Demonstration Day on Wednesday 25 September at the Resapol Depot, Moss Industrial Estate, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 3PT.
The free event will offer delegates an opportunity to witness interactive demonstrations of key concrete repair, protection, strengthening and sprayed concrete techniques. Delegates will be able to closely examine these specialist products and see first-hand how they can be used in a variety of applications.
Delegates are divided into groups to tour a range of demonstration stations. Each station features a different display highlighting the key preparation, skills and techniques involved in: concrete repairs; resin injection; carbon fibre strengthening; sprayed concrete; and cathodic protection and monitoring systems.
Delegates will meet for lunch and refreshments in a separate exhibition area where they can network with other construction professionals and discuss technical queries and upcoming projects with a selection of Alliance association manufacturers, contractors and distribution companies.
The Alliance Demonstration Days are suitable for all involved in the repair, refurbishment, protection and management of concrete infrastructure. They offer an excellent overview of all the latest techniques making them ideal for consultants, contractors, authorities, specifiers, surveyors and engineers with responsibility for awarding maintenance and refurbishment contracts.
