Fibo wall panels were the material of choice when it came to a recent refurbishment of the accessible toilet and wet room located on the 34th floor of iconic London skyscraper The Gherkin.
The facilities were designed exclusively for use by the senior management team and clients of an international investment company.
Matt grey ‘Aberdeen’ panels from Fibo’s Contemporary Tile Effect collection were installed throughout the wet room by contractor SW Bruce, which delivers public and private sector refurbishment projects across London and the South East.
Paul Jones, SW Bruce Site Manager explains: “This was the first time we’d worked with Fibo, but we’d definitely use their products again on the basis of our experience on this project. The waterproof panel system was quick and easy to install, with limited waste compared to traditional ceramic tiles. The team at Fibo were very helpful too – they provided useful instructions for installing the panels, and the team were always on hand if we needed them.
“Fibo’s bathroom panels were ideal for this project. The white grouting-effect line sets off the shade perfectly. Used throughout the room, the matt grey panels provide a strong, modern look using a classic colour,” adds Paul.
