We all know
that drinking plenty of water is important, but when considering children this
need is even more pronounced.
Youngsters
need to drink ample water in the classroom to ensure they can maintain
concentration – vital when you consider the importance of examinations and

more vulnerable to dehydration than adults.
Even mild
dehydration can result in some of the symptoms more commonly associated with
adults who have become ill. According to research, a baby’s body contains 75
per cent water, which reduces to 55 to 60 per cent by adulthood – making it

The Natural
Hydration Council recommends around four to six glasses of water should be
