Designed first and foremost as a functional solution to share information, Forbo Flooring Systems’ Bulletin Board collection is an indispensible choice for specifiers and end users that want to create a practical, yet stylish notice board, functional wall or furniture surface finish that can enhance the interior design of a room.
The flexibility, resilience and durability of Bulletin Board makes it the ideal material for surface areas in educational buildings, offices and even healthcare establishments, where ideas and information are exchanged. Manufactured from 91% natural raw materials and with a 43% recycled content, Bulletin Board retains its grip and does not crumble like traditional soft boards, as the pinholes close after extraction, ensuring a long and useful lifecycle.
With an intense colour palette, which has been refreshed to complement modern environments, and the ability to easily cut the Bulletin Board material, users are able to combine, contrast and create a variety of patterns and designs, to construct a bespoke solution. Indeed, designers can choose from 15 strong shades, including warm sunset tones, muted concrete greys and bright accent colours that can be used for highlighting or creating a stand out feature, such as a salsa red, a citrus orange and a berry blue.
The collection is available in lengths of up to 28 metres and 1.22 metres wide, with three key colours that can be purchased at 1.83 metres wide, making it well suited for large installations such as corridors or conference rooms.
Julie Dempster, Marketing Manager at Forbo Flooring Systems, said: “Pinboard solutions are often uninspiring and are usually an afterthought when it comes to the design of a building. However, Forbo’s sustainable Bulletin Board solution allows designers to experiment with shapes, colours and sizes to create a functional notice board that will become a contemporary feature in any room.
“What’s more, Bulletin Board can contribute to a healthier indoor environment due to the fact that it does not attract dust. As such, end users will be able to work, live or relax in a building that is good for them.”
