The word ‘prefabricated’ can so easily bring to mind a conveyor belt churning out identical products. Euroform’s prefabricated Versachimney manages to combine the benefits of a quality-controlled prefabricated product with the demand for bespoke design.
Versachimney’s two-part system comprises a stainless steel plinth and a stack. The plinth can be put in place quickly, enabling contractors to make the roof watertight. The stack consists of a galvanised steel frame, Versapanel cement particle board, GRP pot, breather membrane and the EZ Wall real-brick slip system.
EZ Wall allows the chimney to be perfectly matched to the rest of the house. Versachimney solutions have been employed for random stone constructions, Cotswold stone in a conservation area and, recently, a challenging slate construction.
