To meet growing demand for whole house heat recovery systems, EnviroVent, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of ventilation systems, has launched two new additions to its renowned energiSava range.
The energiSava 300 and 400 are high efficiency whole house heat recovery systems that are ideal for new homes, providing a constant supply of clean air and reducing humidity levels, therefore preventing condensation and associated issues.
With maximum airflow capacities of 300 and 400 m³/h, these units feature a summer bypass facility, which contributes to an improved comfort level in summer. This is controlled automatically by measuring indoor and outdoor temperatures. The units also include innovative ‘constant flow’ technology which ensures that the commissioned airflow rate is always delivered.
Peter Haynes, Product Manager at EnviroVent, said: “Demand is growing from developers and specifiers in private and social housing for whole house heat recovery systems. These latest additions to the energiSava range help meet current and future requirements, extending choice for both large and smaller homes.”
The energiSava 300 and 400 units offer exceptionally low noise levels, are fully compliant with the new ErP (Energy Related Products) Directive due to be introduced in January 2015 and offer a high level of thermal efficiency.
Many developers and architects are specifying MVHR systems because they are one of the most effective ways of ventilating properties with greater levels of airtightness to meet Building Regulations and improve energy efficiency.
The energiSava 300 and 400 units are easily operated via a simple 4-way switch, with filter indication, or a wireless remote control. These heat recovery systems work by extracting moisture laden air from the ‘wet zones’ of the house – kitchen, bathroom and ensuites. This warm air passes over a high efficiency heat exchange cell which recovers up to 90% of the energy and re-supplies clean, fresh and tempered air into the living room spaces. The low energy consumption system creates an all-year-round, healthy indoor environment, which has also been proven to help homeowners who suffer from asthma, hay fever and bronchia related conditions.
In addition to the new energiSava products, EnviroVent have also launched a new range of low profile MVHR products, the Slimline 150 and 300. The high-efficiency Slimline Range is ideal for ceiling mounted applications such as care homes, offices and student accommodation to provide optimum ventilation. It can also be wall mounted using the supplied brackets. With a height of just 310mm on the Slimline 300 and 200mm for the Slimline 150, the low profile and compact design is perfect for installations where space is restricted.
For renovation projects, the Slimline 150 offers an excellent choice for smaller dwellings and can be installed in areas such as above suspended ceilings in the central hallway of an apartment.
