A new Housing 21 extra care housing scheme for older people in All Saints Road, Warwick has opened for public viewing.
The £8 million development at Rohan Gardens will provide 42 two bedroom apartments as well as communal facilities including a restaurant and hairdressing salon.
Visitors to the open days will be able to look around the scheme and find out more about the opportunities to rent or purchase on a shared ownership basis.
The Rohan Gardens development is the first of six that Housing 21 is providing in a partnership with Warwickshire County Council, Willmott Dixon and the district councils in Warwickshire to develop extra care schemes across the county, three of which are partly funded by the Homes and Communities Agency.
Extra care living is an increasingly popular choice for older people because it allows residents to enjoy their independence with the security of 24 hour support and care if needed.
Applications for the new apartments are invited from those aged 55 and overwith a housing or personal care need and a local connection to the Warwick District Council area.
