Ibstock, the UK’s largest brick maker, has launched several new brick ranges to provide increasing choice enabling its customers to always find their perfect brick.
To coincide with the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, the Coronation range contains two new wirecut bricks that are a cut above the rest.
Ideal for those looking to increase the aesthetic appeal of housing across the UK, these superior bricks, the Balmoral & Windsor, allow users to achieve the appearance of a quality stock brick, whilst maintaining a competitive price point.
Additionally, the Elizabethan brick provides an alternative to the ever-popular, yet no longer available, Jacobean Blue/Red.
This smooth, sand-faced, extruded wirecut brick is specifically designed to meet the demands of the refurbishment market in Wales, North West and Midlands, where the original Jacobean brick was used in a wide-range of building environments. The brick is also targeted at the industrial and commercial sectors in Northern conurbations where Jacobean products have been used extensively.
And, finally, the new Caledonian buff blend is a drag-faced, buff wirecut blend with subtle shades of light to dark grey, giving a slight hint of weathering. Ideal for use by the specification market in the North of England and Scotland, it helps both commercial and residential developments blend well with the local vernacular.
Stewart Morton, Ibstock product manager, adds: “We are always looking to refresh our offering so that customers can be sure they can rely on Ibstock to provide the right brick for their needs. These new products all meet differing customer requirements and we’re confident they will be embraced by their target markets.”
