Lindapter has announced the CE marking of the Hollo-Bolt, giving Engineers, Architects and Contractors additional confidence in specifying the popular connection for Structural Hollow Section (SHS).
The Hollo-Bolt is the first steelwork ‘blind fixing’ of its kind to attain CE marking, proving that Lindapter is at the forefront of product development.
The accomplishment follows a thorough and independent assessment of Lindapter’s Factory Production Control System and a detailed analysis of the Hollo-Bolt’s performance.
Hexagonal, Flush Fit, Countersunk and Button/Security head variants in lengths 1, 2 and 3 are covered by the European Technical Approval (ETA) 10/0416. Structural Engineers can now design Hollo-Bolt connections to the Eurocode 3 standard by using the characteristic values of tensile and shear resistance, featured in both the latest Lindapter catalogue and the New Hollo-Bolt Brochure.
