Viable brick alternative offers extensive colour options, matching potential, proven performance and competitive pricing Ibstock, the UK’s largest brick maker, has seen its recently expanded Tradesman range increase market share over the past 12 months.
Sales of the range have grown by 45% over the past year, bucking market trends and demonstrating its growing appeal to merchants and end users alike.
The range offers a strong option for merchants, who can take advantage of a superior brick range that provides extensive performance, appearance and cost benefits.
Jo Lightfoot, merchant market manager at Ibstock, says: “The Tradesman range is ideal for extensions, garden walls and refurbishments. It has 10 different products to match existing buildings and offers many benefits that the merchant market is increasingly attracted to.
"Peace of mind, courtesy of proven performance characteristics, is allied to a competitive price point that enhances margins for merchants – crucial with today’s tough economic market conditions.”
Merchants can order mixed loads from the entire Tradesman range, making the Tradesman ideal for when a full load of a single colour is not required.
Jo Lightfoot continues: “Our merchants value the strong combination of performance, looks and cost on offer from the Tradesman range. Its market performance over the past year is testimony to this fact and we are delighted that the Tradesman range is proving so popular across the industry.
"We have worked hard to ensure that when offering the Tradesman brick to their customers, merchants will be armed with a brick range that delivers strong and flexible colour options and guaranteed performance – all at the right price. We expect the range to continue to go from strength to strength.”
