Gainsborough Specialist Bathing, part of the leading Care in Bathing Group, is debuting its new Aspect design software on Stand W90 at The Care Show (Bournemouth BIC, 19–20 March) that now delivers enhanced design and planning capabilities for specifiers, contractors and care providers.
For over 25 years, Gainsborough has designed, installed and supported specialist assistive bathing solutions from concept to completion in a range of care environments from residential care homes to acute wards.
Two of its leading powered baths, the Ascot and Windsor Series 2 will be demonstrated on Stand W90 alongside the new Aspect design software. Aspect now gives Gainsborough’s nationwide network of product specialists the ability to provide enhanced design capabilities during project planning and survey stages.
Gainsborough’s new Aspect design programme delivers added benefits to care procurement personnel, specifiers, architects and all designers during the specification and planning of assistive bathing installations. This new technology delivers highly accurate scaled drawings, crisp 3D renderings and bespoke plans of a specified new bath in-situ so the projected end result can be visualised more effectively.
Aspect ensures that client expectations are managed more effectively as Gordon Farmiloe, Care in Bathing Managing Director comments: “This launch at The Care Show represents a significant development for our business.
"Gainsborough Specialist Bathing has been respected for several years in terms of product innovation and installation expertise, however the launch of Aspect takes our quotation and survey abilities to a higher level. We can now provide in-depth detail and real time changes during the initial assessment phase, so ultimately, installations are realised with greater efficiency and meet care needs more precisely than ever before.”
To complete the display on Stand W90 at the 2013 Bournemouth Care Show, Gainsborough will be demonstrating two of it’s most popular assistive baths, namely the Ascot and Windsor 2.
The Ascot is a variable height bath with powered seat transfer and has been designed to deliver the highest levels of performance, comfort, safety and ergonomics for both users and carers. Integrated, state of the art computer technology provides reliable, smooth and effortless transfer of the bather into the TMV3 thermostatically controlled bathing water. The Ascot has a safe user capacity of 150kg (24 stone) and can be supplied with a variety of sensory options including air spa, chromotherapy lighting and Bluetooth® sound system.
The Windsor from Gainsborough, is a versatile assisted bathing system with integrated powered seat transfer. This exceptionally capable solution comes with an extra deep bathing depth for increased bather comfort and is easy to clean and maintain, reducing the risks of cross infection.
