Project brief

Nu-Heat were tasked with designing and supplying a bespoke, combined acoustic and underfloor heating (UFH) system for Norman House.

UFH requirements

  1. Low-profile to maintain ceiling height;
  2. High heat output compatible with high ceilings and suspended timber floors;
  3. Deliver a reduction in airborne and impact noise between floors;
  4. Suitable for installation directly over the structural floor deck.

Project solution

AcoustiPanelTM14 for upper floors

Nu-Heat specified and supplied AcoustiPanelTM14 for the property’s upper floors. This low-profile, high-performance UFH system offers independently-tested outstanding acoustic improvements of up to +9dB, significantly reducing airborne and impact noise whilst creating an ultra-smooth surface ideal for luxury floor finishes.
