Modular and steel anti-vandal building manufacturer Danzer Limited has won new orders worth over £1m in recent weeks.
The company has been awarded three contracts by Southwark Borough Council for school extension projects across London totaling £732,000.
A further project worth £111,000 for ARG Construction and the London Borough of Kensington to provide accommodation units for Chelsea’s roadsweepers has also been delivered this month together with a £125,000 build for London Underground to provide permanent training facility for staff at its Cockfosters depot.
A £43,000 contract for US distribution Company Iron Mountain in Dublin has also seen the firm deliver a vandal-proof storage vault, in what is the company’s first overseas project.
Commenting on the strong order book Danzer Limited’s Helen Scott said: “Our success is down to the fact that we manufacture, deliver and install our own buildings, which are made by our fabrication team at Langley Mill to meet clients’ exact specifications. That means we keep full control of the process from order right through to hand over and fit out and that enables us to minimize delays. Modular building provides a fast, affordable and flexible route for expansion for places such as schools and colleges compared to traditional building methods.”
She continues: “We are also winning lots of repeat business which is great. The Southwark schools follow on from three successful completions we delivered for the Council in 2013. “
To meet the growing demand Danzer Limited, has invested £110,000 in a new steel production facility at Langley Mill which will be operational in the Autumn.
The new facility will include an overhead crane, gas piping system, welding equipment, spray painting facilities with full extraction and air filter systems along with all the necessary electrical work. It is anticipated that the new facility will deliver a 50% increase in productivity in steel manufacture.
