Online CPD for Class A2 Breather Membrane

Stamisol Safe One is the first non-combustible façade breather membrane for high-rise buildings and safety critical structures. This innovative membrane is independently tested to EN 13501-1 as Class A2-s1,d0 and reliably seals the building envelope with maximum fire safety. The new non-combustible vertical breather membrane CPD, certified by RIBA, looks into what the Class A2-s1,d0 membrane achieves in supporting fire safety behind cladding and in front of thermal blocks for high-rise buildings and buildings where mobility could be an issue. The CPD details the independent certification and how this A2 class will eventually replace Class B membranes when specified on the outside of buildings to ensure a superior Class A2 fire protection for the outer skin envelope. Safe One installers meet NVQ Level 2 Rainscreen Cladding for competence and the Blue CSCS card for skilled workers.

The Stamisol Safe One CPD is presented by Allan Hurdle of AKH Services and is offered through Zoom, the RIBA recommended video conferencing app. While the lockdown is in place, working-from-home architects and consultants can update their CPD points via the Safe One RIBA CPD.
