Leading Italian manufacturer of renders and integrated render systems, Fassa Bortolo, has launched a new RIBA accredited CPD course to architects nationwide.
The CPD, titled “External Wall Insulation (EWI) Best Practice” will provide a valuable learning experience for practitioners, offering technical expert knowledge and a well-rounded review of the industry.
In the 45-minute session, the programme will cover an understanding of EWI, benefits of use, design and project coordination, as well as address issues to be aware of, including regulation.
Commercial manager at Fassa Bortolo, Dale Telling, comments: “With regulation tighter than ever on building materials, it’s essential that architects are kept up to speed with the latest innovations and requirements in external wall insulation.
“This new programme, approved by RIBA, will support those in the A&D community in specifying our products. As a result, practitioners will become more confident in understanding which product they should choose for each project to ensure a quick and easy turnaround. We look forward to working closely with practices across the country to share our specialist knowledge.”
Fassa Bortolo’s market leading product selection offers a wide range of state-of-the art building materials, including external render systems for use with new and existing buildings, paint and internal plaster systems and a series of high-performance plaster boards.
