Daikin UK is inviting building services engineers and engineering consultants to attend the fourth series of its successful Future Thinking CPD-accredited seminars based on Building Information Modelling (BIM).
The leading CPD series, taking place in October and November, will go ‘Beyond the Buzz’ of BIM, providing attendees with useful tools and techniques for engineering modern sustainable buildings.
As the UK moves toward meeting the Government’s BIM Level 2 maturity initiative before 2016, it is even more important to make sense of the mountain of data and 3D models engineers have at their disposal, in order to harness the true value of BIM and its role in the construction of sustainable buildings.
To enable engineers to produce more sustainable buildings through the successful implementation of BIM, Daikin UK has invited the following industry leading BIM experts to speak at the latest Future Thinking series: Ant Wilson, AECOM Fellow, Director of Sustainability & Advanced Design, Building Engineering; and Stefan Boeykens, Senior BIM Manager at D-Studio and Guest Professor at the University of Leuven in Belgium.
Highlighting how the innovative software can help meet the BSRIA ‘soft landings’ requirements, deliver better outcomes in design, construction and handover as well as inform the project lifecycle, the latest Future Thinking seminar series will also consider BIM’s future potential and how it can further transform the building services industry.
The seminars will be hosted from 6pm and include buffet, drinks and networking at the following locations:
