The Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, Greg Barker, gave a comprehensive speech about the Green Deal at ecobuild this week, during which, he acknowledged the National Insulation Association’s (NIA) proactive work towards the Green Deal with its new Green Deal Bulletin Service.

Mr Barker described how the industry is gearing up for the Green Deal and stated that the NIA’s new bulletin service is aimed at providing its members with the latest information and support available.

Bev Coombe, Membership and Communications Manager, commented: “The NIA is delighted that the Minister mentioned our new members’ Green Deal Bulletin Service in his speech as this highlights the Government’s recognition of the work that has been undertaken by the NIA in the run up to the launch of the Green Deal later this year.

“The NIA is heavily involved in developing the Green Deal with Government and is well placed to provide information, advice and support to its members wishing to be involved in the Green Deal. Our Bulletin Service does just this delivering a mine of easily accessible information to the members who will be actively involved in the initiative.
