One of the UK’s leading contract furniture manufacturers, Inside Out Contracts, has turned to the creative possibilities found within Polyrey Collection 2017 for the washrooms of its London showroom.
As a meeting point for the London interior design community, Inside Out’s new showroom showcases the manufacturer’s specialist hospitality solutions. As a regular specifier of Polyrey decorative laminate surfaces for numerous projects, Inside Out wanted to show designers the creative possibilities Polyrey offers.
Turning to the Signature bespoke service for the interior and the doors of the washrooms, Inside Out has demonstrated how Polyrey laminates can create striking effects, giving new meaning to a wide range of applications. On the doors to the entrances of the washroom, Polyrey has digitally recreated two chalkboard drawings provided by Inside Out.
Within the washrooms themselves, two repeating patterns were printed onto standard colours from the Color Papago collection, one of which was designed by Inside Out’s in-house design team featuring “James Bond Style” icons.
With the bold blue of Bleu Flash and the pastel of Aigue Marine, each bearing a unique Signature design, contrasted with white of Blanc Artic, the end result displays the creative possibility of choosing Polyrey.
With the properties of high-pressure laminate from Polyrey, the doors and washrooms are given a robust surface that is ideal for high-traffic environments. Featuring Santizied, an antibacterial treatment that harnesses the qualities of silver ions, the surfaces are also hygienic.
“As a supplier of contract furniture to all kinds of commercial environments we understand that design and durability are key factors in a designer’s selection for interior finishes,” comments Lisa Cluer, Managing Director of Inside Out.
“We’ve used Polyrey for tabletop applications for many years and by including the panels in our showroom design we wanted to reflect their potential as a decorative and functional wall covering.”
The Inside Out space in South East London has recently opened, creating an ideal environment for designers to experience and be inspired by the latest most acclaimed furniture.
