Marley Plumbing & Drainage has supplied its Quantum PVCu sewer system, Deepflow high capacity gutter system and Equator plumbing fittings to the Creemills housing development, on the banks of the River Cree.

The exceptional durability and ease of installation offered across all three product ranges was instrumental to their specification, with the convenience of being able to source all requirements from a single supplier an added incentive for main contractor JSB Developments.

The Quantum PVCu sewer system benefits from a twin-wall structure that offers high structural performance from a lightweight material, meaning easier on-site handling and installation.  “The product was a real favourite on site,” comments James Scott. “Not only was it easy to manage, storing was far easier and health and safety risks were minimised.”

The Deepflow rainwater system has a semi-elliptical profile that produces a self cleansing flow that meets the high capacity demands of areas with heavy rainfall, such as the River Cree. The system can be installed as a notched or notchless system and also features Easyclip on all fittings, providing a greater degree of flexibility when making a joint and speeding up installation times.

Deepflow also incorporates Marley’s groundbreaking Life4 technology. Lasting good looks are achieved through being coated by a thin external capping layer, which prevents discolouring from powerful UV rays.

Finally, the Equator range of plumbing fittings are ideal for hot and cold water and central heating applications. Manufactured from cross linked polyethylene (PE-X), the system offers excellent performance capabilities in terms of chemical and temperature resistance and long term durability.

“Marley’s extensive product offering was able to meet the entire plumbing and drainage needs at Creemills,” said James Scott. “The company was also able to assist with the specification from drawings of the site, meaning there was one less element to worry about in the construction process.”
