ISG has been awarded the contract to fit out the new UK headquarters for leading real estate and property consultancy firm, Savills.
Located on the corner of Regent Street and Margaret Street in central London, 33 Margaret Street has been recently redeveloped by amalgamating three existing structures into a single, prestigious commercial office property.
Savills has taken the lease on the entire building and the company will initially fit out and occupy seven of the eight floors, totalling c.88,000 sq. ft.
ISG will take the seven storeys for occupation by Savills from Cat A to Cat B specification in a fast-track, 18-week fit out programme. Across the ground floor, the contractor will create a client business café, conference/presentation suite with bi-folding wall for enhanced flexibility. ISG will also install a new feature staircase rising from ground to first floor level.
The contractor will deliver a high specification meeting suite with dedicated video-conferencing facilities and support staff accommodation at first floor level, with executive client meeting/dining rooms on the seventh floor. The remaining accommodation will be mainly open plan in configuration, with internal meeting rooms, tea points, collaboration zones, hot desk facilities and quiet areas, as well as specialist reprographics and roller racking storage areas.
The high specification fit out will be delivered to exacting standards and includes solid timber floors, fabric and timber acoustic ceiling finishes, lacquer and fabric panelling, specialist wall coverings, polished plasterwork, bespoke veneers and natural stone. The project also comprises a large mechanical and electrical package, with ISG installing specialist lighting, small power and data infrastructure along with the provision of efficient chiller and condenser units.
Paul Cossell, managing director of ISG Fit Out, commented: “There was a great deal of market interest concerning this prestigious project for Savills and we are naturally delighted with our selection for the scheme at 33 Margaret Street. We provided a compelling business case based upon our exceptional track record delivering award winning and world class corporate interiors over accelerated timeframes, which proved especially resonant with Savills.”
