Wienerberger, the UK’s leading provider of wall, roof and landscaping innovations, has added four new soft mud bricks to its ever-expanding product offering.

The new bricks, which are manufactured at Wienerberger’s largest UK factory, the Waresley works in Worcestershire, have been developed to satisfy the growing demand for soft mud bricks (also known as stock bricks) across the UK.

The Dewhurst Orange Multi and Woodhurst Red Multi each have a natural, through-colour hearting effect which is very popular in the market. These new bricks are an ideal complement to the Kingshurst Multi and Brookhurst Yellow Multi which have become well established since they were launched in 2013.

The Thornton Red Blend and Kensington Yellow Blend have been introduced in response to a growing demand for blends of different colour tones. The Thornton Red Blend contains a mixture of red and orange hues and the Kensington Yellow Blend is a subtle combination of yellow and cream.

These new bricks are expected to appeal to a wide range of markets and project types across the UK from volume house building to commercial developments.

Lee Pauls, Wall Category Product Manager, commented: "We are really excited to launch the newest additions to our product range. Demand for soft mud bricks is growing and these new products are a great enhancement to the already wide range of soft mud bricks we make at Waresley. They complement each other as well as our existing offering enabling our customers to create attractive street scenes using a family of bricks.”
