Vandersanden, Europe’s largest family-owned brick manufacturer, is set to launch its new range of traditional stock bricks to the UK, to coincide with the company’s 100-year anniversary.
This innovative product line will deliver even greater versatility and choice to architects, housebuilders and other specifiers.
With over a century of craftsmanship and heritage, Vandersanden offers one of the most extensive brick portfolios in the industry. From traditional stock bricks to contemporary hand-formed and waterstruck styles, the company’s range spans many colours, textures and finishes, each designed to meet the diverse needs of the construction sector.
The new traditional stock brick is made from a dry, fine sand and has a very smooth, flat surface with a subtle texture for a clean contemporary look. The brick is coated, offering the added benefit of Vandersanden’s 25-year guarantee against gypsum efflorescence, as well as secondary protection against the effects of pollution, ensuring long-lasting, sustainably attractive facades.
This fresh specification option joins Vandersanden’s exceptional portfolio of high-quality products, which includes the revolutionary Pirrouet®, a CO2-negative facing brick. The company is known for its dedication to developing new products as part of its sustainability pledge to be climate neutral by 2050 and to optimise solutions for the construction industry.
Darren White, Sales Director for Vandersanden, commented, “Our 100th anniversary is the perfect moment to extend our product range. The new traditional stock brick range is designed to meet the needs of our customers who are looking for both versatility and distinction in their projects.”
