Already installed in countless social housing projects across the UK, Versa 5 and Versa 8 fire sprinkler boxing can be used with standard or ‘pop-out’ sprinkler heads, while the range also includes a selection of profile sizes and accessories to meet most installation requirements.
Manufactured from either 5mm or 8mm thick pre-formed plywood and pre-finished in durable white melamine, they’re easy to cut on-site and provide a uniform finish to sprinkler projects.
This helps save time during installation by allowing pipework to be covered quickly and easily with no need for painting. All that’s required is for the boxing to be cut to length and holes drilled for the sprinkler heads before securing to the wall or ceiling with wood battens, screws and caps.
Where flame retardant sprinkler boxing is required, Encasement’s range also includes Versa FR, which is manufactured from flame retardant Euroclass B compliant board and is designed primarily for use on high-rise residential projects to meet flame retardant specifications.
