With demand outstripping availability, Aico has announced the addition of further dates and locations for its highly popular Fire Safety Events for social housing organisations.
The Fire Safety Events were introduced by Aico as a means of taking the fire safety message and awareness to Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), for maximum convenience.
The events focus on education, featuring a CPD session on Building Regulations for domestic fire detection, taken from Aico’s award winning Expert Installer training scheme, and cover the proposed revisions to the British Standard for domestic Fire Alarm installation BS 5839-6:2013.
The latest innovations in Smoke Alarm technology, including cloud-based monitoring, are also covered to ensure RSLs remain up to date.
The latest events, named ‘Fire & CO Industry Forums’ are in February, starting on the 5th February at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, moving to Durham, London, Southampton and concluding at The Principality Stadium in Cardiff on the 26th, beginning at 8.45am and finishing with a Q&A session at 1.40pm. Two Aico Mobile Training & Demonstration Units will attend each event. The Units feature information boards on all Aico technologies, such as AudioLINK data extraction, and alarm ranges with fully functional product attached, along with a virtual video tour of the company’s manufacturing process in Shannon, Ireland.
