Following the continued rise in popularity of softmud bricks and blends of different colours, Wienerberger has responded to market demand with the launch of two new handcreased style products.
Manufactured at the Warnham factory in South East England, the new products offer the construction industry a more diverse range of handmade style bricks.
Launching as Olde Southwater and Olde Sussex Blend, the products are expected to be very popular in the market due to the handcreased texture, which creates a similar aesthetic quality of handmade bricks, but without the high prices of genuine handmades.
The Olde Southwater is a plain, warm red brick whilst the Olde Sussex Blend features a combination of warm red and soft orange tones.
These bricks are expected to be popular across a range of project types across the South of England and beyond.
Lee Pauls, Category Product Manager for Wall products at Wienerberger, commented: “We are very pleased to be adding these new handcreased style products to our range as they really enhance our offering in this area.
"We are seeing a growing demand for this type of product and the blending of different brick colours is currently very much on trend and provides us with some great opportunities. Product development is one of our key priorities and we are looking forward to developing this offering even further throughout 2017.”
