Divert daylight into rooms lacking natural light with the new flexible DDS Light Pipe range from Xtralite Rooflights, the UK’s largest rooflight manufacturer.

The low maintenance environmentally friendly pipes act as a conduit between internal ceilings and external roofs and can be fitted on slate, tile, flat or pitched roofs to divert light indoors.

Available in two formats - Rigid and Flexi-tube – Rigid Tube supplies a larger amount of reflected light, while Flexi-tube is much more adaptable to install. Both systems are comprised of roof, loft and ceiling sections, allowing the lengths and angles of the tubes to be adjusted to best meet the individual project’s requirements.

With a consistently high Total Reflection rate of 98%, the DDS Light Pipe range’s durable, mirror-finished polished aluminium tube offers much higher reflection levels than similar products which use multi-layer polymeric film.

Bob Tweedy, Managing Director at Xtralite Rooflights comments: “Having been inspired by customer demand for this type of low maintenance eco friendly product which reduces heat load on a building, we are delighted to add DDS Light Pipes to our expanding product range. Not only do these systems offer a rapid return on investment and no running costs, they can improve the comfort of people suffering from the effects of issues such as Seasonal Affective Disorder.”
