The experts at Saniflo have made it easier than ever to have a shower in the most awkward of spaces, such as a basement.

The new Sanishower Flat is a pumping solution for low-level shower trays of 80mm and over, which is capable of pumping a standard electric or gravity mixer shower and the two inlets mean a washbasin can be added too.

The Sanishower Flat allows you to install a shower anywhere a water supply can reach, even when there is no gravity drainage available. This means the installation of showers in awkward basement areas or converted garage spaces has never been easier.

It also means that you can avoidcostly time consuming and disruptive excavation works under the proposed shower area.

The Sanishower Flat pumps waste water up to 3m vertically and 20m horizontally and is a two part kit with the Sanishower pump plus gully and waste, which can be installed next to or underneath a shower tray with access for easy maintenance.

Saniflo UK customer services and marketing manager, Ann Boardman, comments: “We’ve launched Sanishower Flat in response to demand from the industry for a swift and simple shower drainage solution that can be used in awkward spaces.

"More people want to convert basements, lofts or garage spaces into complete living areas, but the idea of messy and costly excavation works can put many off. The Sanishower Flat solves this problem – plus the drainage from a basin – with one simple, swift solution, without the need for any disruptive work.

"The Sanishower Flat can be used in conjunction with other Saniflo products to provide a total non mains drainage solution for a complete living space in a basement comprising bathroom, kitchen and even utility room.”
