Pulse swopped out the 60 station fitness suite at Medlock Leisure Centre, Manchester and has replaced with the latest fitness equipment solutions.

The rejuvenated fitness suite now boasts Pulse’s Fusion cardiovascular range, Evolve resistance equipment and their comprehensive gym management software, SmartCentre.

The partnership began in 2007 when Pulse were appointed as the leisure development partner to deliver a £3 million swimming pool funded by the Council and a further investment from Pulse of £1 million to refurbish the existing dry sports facility and make provision for a new health and fitness studio, dedicated changing, reception, lounge and refreshments area.

As part of Pulse’s Investment and Operational Partnership with Tameside Sports Trust the contract sees Pulse refreshing the fitness equipment in the gym every five years for the duration of the 10 partnership.

The 10 partnership not only sees Pulse provide fitness equipment refresh but also continued sales and marketing support and life-cycle refresh to the interior and exterior of the building to ensure the facilities ongoing sustainability.

The new fitness equipment has given the gym a boost” commented Lyndsey Whiteside, Head of Development for Tameside Sports Trust operator of Medlock Leisure Centre.  “The partnership with Pulse guarantees we are getting the latest fitness solutions on a regular basis. Staff and members alike are already reaping the benefits of the new equipment”
