Yate Utd U15 football team is benefiting from the support of delayed action float valves manufacturer, Keraflo. The team, which obtained new shirts through the sponsorship, saw a 5-4 win in the Avon Youth League, U15 Division 1, after wearing the new kit for the first time on 23rd September 2012.

Keraflo, which recognises the importance of supporting communities and its valued customers, provided the new kit for the U15 team ready for the start of the season. Having won the Avon Youth League U12 Cup two years ago and successfully finishing 3rd in the league for the last two seasons, Yate Utd U15 football team hope the new kit will continue their run of success.

With its ‘local football for local kids’ ethos, the team, which has been successfully running for 10 years, offers children in the area a chance to learn how to play football by competing in regular fixtures and developing training skills.

Clive Milton, an employee at Balmoral Tanks, one of Keraflo’s biggest customers, and a volunteer involved in the running of Yate Utd, commented: “Yate Utd pride themselves on offering local children the chance to play football. With the new season coming up we required the funding to provide a complete new kit for the team. We were aware of Keraflo’s willingness to support community initiatives and were extremely grateful when they agreed. We really value the support of a company like Keraflo, investing in initiatives such as Yate Utd provides great support to local communities.”

Neil Weston, Keraflo’s Sales Manager, commented: “It is extremely important for Keraflo to play a positive role in supporting community initiatives. When Clive approached us for sponsorship we were more than happy to help. Keraflo aims to play a positive role, not only in energy efficiency by greatly reducing emissions and carbon footprint, but also by supporting communities.”
