Bournemouth Air Festival, one of the town's most infamous annual events, will feature for the second consecutive year, a spectacular beach lounge.

With a new and improved area and better location, Koh Lounge will give visitors the perfect sight of the soaring aircraft, which will include a highly anticipated performance by the Red Arrows.

Koh Lounge will feature a bigger 180- seater marquee this year, with a standing capacity of 500. Guests of the lounge will be able to watch the aerial displays live overhead, as well as on screens displaying "Airshow TV".

Soak up the sun on specially laid on sun beds, be served cocktails in the sun in the new "high flyers quarter" or take in the atmosphere over a cold beer in the new "Hanger Bar". An appetising array of Thai Tapas, curries and noodles will be on offer from the award winning Koh Thai Tapas, as well as the usual draught beer, cocktails and wine.

With the Air Festival running from August 29 to September 1, Koh Lounge will be open each day from 10am until 11.30pm. To complete the truly indicative Thai Theme, the Koh Lounge will host beach parties every night of the Air Festival. Koh Lounge will also be raising money for the Jon Eggings Trust again as last year.

Co-Director of Koh Thai Tapas, Andrew Lennox, said: "This is our third Koh Lounge and every year we are developing and improving the lounge, this year we are again taking the Lounge to another level. Our outdoor catering proved so popular last year that we knew we'd have to make it even bigger and better for 2013. We've added the Hanger Bar and the High Flyers Quarter this year and it will be the place to be at the Airshow…our staff are unbelievably excited and with the usual Koh vibe- it's going to be electric."
