Pipe Center, the UK’s leading heating supplier, has secured a number of major supply contracts through the NHS ProCure21+ National Framework.
It follows the company’s recent addition of commercial sanitary ware to its traditional core offering in heating, tube and fittings.
Covering both new build and refurbishment projects, ProCure21+ aims to save money, reduce project lead times and improve quality by standardising design and streamlining supply channels.
Pipe Center has won multiple contracts since the beginning of the year for the supply of commercial sanitary ware for installation in several healthcare facilities across England.
Projects are carried out by one of six national contractors. These Principal Supply Chain Partners comprise Balfour Beatty, Integrated Health Projects, Interserve, Kier, Miller hps, and Willmott Dixon.
With more than 226 active healthcare projects under way, worth some £2.6bn, further substantial supply agreements are in the pipeline, says Pipe Center.
Following Pipe Center’s success with commercial sanitary ware, the supplier is considering expanding its range further in future.
Andy McEwan, commercial director of Pipe Center and Climate Center, says: “The ProCure21+ initiative represents one of the biggest building programmes in the country. The objective is to deliver substantial efficiencies for the NHS by streamlining the whole process of design, build and materials procurement.
“As a leading supplier we have an important contribution to make to this process by ensuring quick, responsive supply channels, a single point of contact for multi-sector products and excellent technical support across the product range.
He added: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with these key construction firms and delighted at our recent success in securing a number of major contracts over the past few months. We look forward to continuing to support the healthcare building roll-out under ProCure21+.”
