The British Board of Agrément has a busy programme lined up for UK Construction Week, with all areas of its business represented at the event and senior management taking part in presentations and discussions.
BBA CEO Claire Curtis-Thomas will participate in a main-stage panel discussion entitled ‘Building Safer Homes Post-Grenfell’ on Tuesday, October 8, 11.30am-12.15pm.
Also on the Tuesday (in CPD Hub 2, Hall 11, 3:15pm - 4:15pm) Dr Mike Wiseman, BBA Team Manager - Construction Products, will deliver a presentation about the ‘Assessment of warm roofing systems’, focusing on how the BBA assesses such building solutions.
Visitors to the BBA stand (B383) can meet with senior managers throughout the event, with business unit specialists in attendance representing Product Approval & Certification, Audit & Inspection and Test Services, allowing event delegates to find out more about the BBA’s work and how its skilled and experienced specialists can assist their operations.
“We are very much looking forward to UK Construction Week,” said Wendy Ajuwon, BBA Head of Marketing. “We have new initiatives to discuss and will be welcoming a significant number of construction product manufacturers to our stand to receive their eagerly awaited BBA Certificates. We’d also love existing clients to drop in for a chat and prospective customers to come and find out more about our business, what it does and how it could benefit them. Our door is open!”
The BBA sets the standard for excellence in construction products and systems. It is known for building product certification via its Agrément certificates but it also offers a broad range of services including audit and inspection of factories, sites and installers and comprehensive product testing facilities at its base in Watford, Hertfordshire.
