The BAU 2019 exhibition in Munich is a key event for SE Controls and the company is previewing several new actuator and control innovations alongside products from our comprehensive range of smoke control, environmental ventilation and façade engineering solutions.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s leading architectural and construction trade fairs, BAU runs from January 14-19 2019 and is staged in 19 halls with around 2,000 exhibitors from 45 countries expecting to attract more than 250,000 visitors.
Located in Hall B2.534, SE Controls’ 60 sq.mtr stand includes products and animated displays covering actuators, monitoring and control solutions, as well as providing information on international compliance and regulations alongside a dedicated ‘Research and Development’ feature focusing on product innovation.
The ‘R&D’ zone not only showcases the company’s ‘first principles’ product development approach, but also features prototypes of three of its latest product innovations, which are currently going through rigorous performance and quality testing prior to launch.
Will Perkins, Group Managing Director with SE Controls, explained: “Everything about the product innovations being shown at BAU is new. We took the view that to develop the next generation of world-class products for the global market, we needed to innovate from first principles. Building on 35 years of experience we have been researching, learning and innovating by looking at key components, such as the chain material, motor and casing requirements.”
Animated displays, live demonstration videos and working products, together with a wide range of technical information and support, also feature as part of SE Controls’ exhibition stand design, which enables visitors to experience the products in action and discuss applications with the company’s business development team at the exhibition.
Also, to ensure that visitors can obtain information relevant to their own country and location, SE Controls’ stand hosts have been drawn from the company’s international offices in South Africa, UAE, China, and mainland Europe, together with the UK.
Will Perkins continued: “Since we last exhibited at BAU in 2017, we have continued to grow and innovate to ensure that our global footprint is not only increasing in size but is also making a firm impression in every country where we have a presence. This year’s show is an excellent opportunity to showcase our talents for innovation and manufacturing, as well as our ability to deliver outstanding world-class products and solutions to the smoke control, environmental ventilation and façade engineering sectors.”
