Imperial Bricks, the UK’s leading supplier of the finest traditional handmade, wirecut and pressed bricks, will be on Stand D90 at the London Build Expo, October 25 and 26 at London Olympia.
London Build 2017 is the UK’s largest construction expo dedicated entirely to opportunities in London and the South of England. Imperial will be showing its extensive range of bricks suitable for use in new-build, renovation and extensions in and around London. Its brick slips, used in both decorative internal work or as an outside cladding, and new crackle-glazed wall tiles will also be on display.
Imperial Bricks specialises in producing bricks suitable for all regions of the UK, so it’s no surprise its range includes bricks to match every variety used across London.
In the London Yellow Stock range alone there are four variations – Yellow Stock, Reclamation Yellow Stock, Yellow Multi Stock and Reclamation Yellow Multi Stock, in addition to the bespoke blends which can be created to suit. A Heritage range of hydraulic lime mortars, including a Traditional London variation, is available in partnership with Limetec.
Jason Hughes, Managing Director at Imperial Bricks comments: “Our brick range is suitable for all parts of London. With imperial and metric sizing available, it’s simple to match existing brickwork. And if there isn’t an exact match available, Imperial Bricks and Bebbington’s tinting service will ensure a seamless blend of old and new.”
In addition, Ruth Hughes, UK Specification Manager at Imperial Bricks, will be presenting a CPD seminar on Revolutionising Restoration, as part of the Interiors & Fit-Out Summit. Scheduled for 2pm on October 25, the 50-minute presentation will cover:
- Traditional brickmaking methods and regional brick variations across the UK
- Practical guidance on how to specify the right brick for renovation, extension and new build projects
- Brick types and sizes available
- The benefits of using traditional handmade bricks in conservation, heritage and new build
- Problem solving
The seminar is fully accredited and all attendees will be presented a CPD certificate.
