When it comes to knowing their stuff GEZE UK staff always give 100 per cent which has been proven by the results of recent professional exams.

Rachel Cox, Project Design Team Leader and Matt Lovatt, Field Operations Supervisor, have joined the ‘100 per cent club’ by achieving maximum marks in their Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA) BS EN 16005 Authorised Technicians exam.

They are two of just nine people who have achieved 100 per cent in the history of the ADSA exam which was introduced in March 2014. Other members of this elite set include fellow GEZE UK colleagues Dan Stack, Stephen Maynard and Nat Stanswood who all achieved maximum marks in previous years. This means that more than half those who gained 100 per cent are GEZE UK employees.

BS EN 16005 is the European Standard that is the code of practice for safety in use of automatic doors for pedestrian use. All pedestrian automatic doors installed since April 2013 must comply with the BS EN 16005 standard.

ADSA has developed the exam to ensure that member’s employees understand and comply with it. Candidates must achieve 72 per cent to pass.

Kaz Spiewakowski, GEZE UK managing director, said: “We are very proud of Rachael and Matt’s achievement. We pride ourselves in the expertise our teams offer to clients and this goes to prove how committed they are to delivering that. I would like to wish them the warmest congratulations on their success.”

Said Dave Hill, managing director of ADSA: “GEZE UK has always provided their employees with the full one-and-a-half days training package for the Standards Authorised Technician Course and this has delivered an above average success rate. Out of 1800 persons who have taken the exam nine have passed with 100 per cent of which five worked for GEZE UK. This proves the value of face to face training and the investment GEZE UK have made in education.”
