Uponor, a leading provider of plumbing and indoor climate solutions, has become the sole supplier of radiant heating systems for the Sunesis range of schools.
Sunesis is a joint venture between Scape Group – a public sector owned procurement specialist that offers a full suite of national frameworks and innovative design solutions - and Willmott Dixon, one of the country’s most recognisable brands for the built environment, with a turnover in excess of £1bn.
Commenting on the agreement Chris Jackson, Uponor National Key Account Manager for the Commercial Sector said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Uponor to work alongside market-leading brands, delivering a truly innovative and sustainable building programme for the education sector.
“With a pre-defined layout and specification, considerable costs and time can be saved by using Sunesis. And, with the additional benefit of being able to personalise the space, based on individual preferences and requirements, it is ideally suited to the education sector.”
Commenting on the announcement, Kevin Dundas, Product Manager at Willmott Dixon said: “The key drivers in the selection process were finding a company that welcomed a standardised approach and the company needed to demonstrate a good quality product, design and value. From the start of the process, Uponor showed a professional approach and a passion for their product which gave us complete confidence that Uponor was the right choice.
“This partnership will help ensure the Sunesis brand continues to deliver a high quality product in a cost effective way.”
The two year agreement is effective immediately, with all work completed under the Sunesis framework agreement.
