This year sees the return of Ecobuild China at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, starting today for the next three days and bringing big names and debate to the heart of the exhibition sharing their unique perspective on the agenda for China’s sustainable future.
Designed to inspire, educate and inform, the two day conference programme will feature key industry speakers including BRE Group, Atkins, RICS, shanghaiBIM, government officials and academics in cutting edge debates and high level discussions to cover topics such as BIM in practice: enabling efficiency through high performance design; Buildings in use: key steps towards energy efficiency; Achieving excellence in low carbon construction – the role of Three Star, LEED, BREEAM and DGNB.
Ecobuild China attracted over 15,000 attendees and 127 exhibiting companies in its first year and secured its position as the region’s meeting place for the sustainable built community.
Building upon the anchor event in London - Ecobuild UK, combined with global chapters in India and Southeast Asia – Ecobuild China is expected to attract the most influential decision makers, architects and developers in the region.

The event has the official support and endorsement of many of the industry’s leading associations including China Institute of Building Standard & Research, Ecological Building Materials Association, shanghaiBIM, RevitBBS, RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), BRE (UK’s Building Research Establishment) and CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building).
