Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford, London had the honour of becoming
the official shopping centre for the 2012 Olympics. Owned by the
Westfield Group it officially opened it’s doors to the public on 13
September 2011.
Being one of the largest urban shopping centres in Europe, it boasts a
retail floor space of over 175,00 square metres and contains some of the
most popular high street brands in the UK. The centre is part of a
large multi purpose development adjacent to the London Olympic Park.
Having been contracted to work on many of the retail outlets within,
Albany Interiors were chosen to re-fit the reception area and called in
BluePrint for assistance in relation to their tiling requirements.
They selecting to install a tile from BluePrint’s Cemento 1, Porcelain Collection given it’s suitability for modern architecture and large choice of sizes.
